About the Instructors

Michal Gancarski is a staff data engineer at GROPYUS, leveraging over a decade of experience in building software and data systems to design and operate complex data platforms. He designed an Apache Iceberg training for O’Reilly, he regularly publishes insights on data engineering, architecture, and best practices on LinkedIn. He previously helped build the Zalando’s Data Lake infrastructure.
Francesco Mucio is a data consultant and founder of Untitled Data Company, with roughly 20 years of experience in databases, BI and data visualization, helping organizations design and scale modern data platforms. He has held roles at organizations such as Allianz, Disney Streaming, Zalando, Citi, Picsart. He is the organizer of the Data Berlin meetup and writes his data thoughts in the mailing list select * from.
